This how to has been created to assist you on how to create uploads or spots on AsianUsenet.com.

Please do not confuse this with uploading to NewsGroups (See Guide Here).

This guide will inform you on the procedures you have to take for your upload or spot to show on the site.

Its very easy and you should get the hang of it once you done it once or twice. This How To is relevant for both posting

your uploads and spots although some steps will not be relevant to one or the other.

I suggest that you read up on the UPLOADING GUIDE FIRST which will give you some extra knowledge.

STEP 1 (Gathering Information)

The first step is to make sure you know what you are going to post or spot. You need to know the following information

which will be filled in a later step. Later we will also look at how to find information needed easy:

1. NZB
2. Genre.
3. Title.
4. Name of newsgroup it has been posted to.
5. Name of the files.
6. How many total parts.
7. Audio-Language (Japanese, Mandarin, etc).
8. Language of subtitles if any included.
9. Location of subtitles (explained later).
10. Pars included.
11. % of pars.
12. Video Format.
13. Audio Format.
14. Upload Date.
15. Synopsis/Plot
16. Any other relevant information you might find is important to share.

It is also important you have an URL to a website which will give extra information about the upload or spot and of course

a direct link to a front cover or the actual image cover on your hard disk.

STEP 2 (NZB Uploaders Only)

Once you gathered all the information (It seems a lot but it isn't as you will see later on) you need have a working NZB of the upload or spot.

If you uploaded what you are trying to post, PowerPost will probably have outputted the NZB in the directory specified. Read the Upload guide

if you aren't sure what I mean.

Make sure you RAR or ZIP the NZB using the best compression possible to make the NZB as small as possible. The site will not accept large

files and only .RAR or .ZIP files so make sure you compress them. To find WinRAR go to www.rarlabs.com.

STEP 3 (NZB Spot Only)

If you are spotting you must get the NZB from somewhere else. Best sources are binsearch.info or yabse.com

There two are the main ones that I use. All you need to know is the file name, search for it and then use the function on one of these sites to create the NZB and follow STEP 2 to RAR or ZIP it.

STEP 4 (Creating the post)

Now that we got what we need we can start to create the post on the site. Firstly you must make sure you post in the right section on the site.

Divx/Xvid , DVD, TV-SHOWS, etc all need to be in their own section. All the section will have an Upload and Spot area whichever your post belongs to. So click on Create Thread once you are in the right section and a new page will load up looking something like this:

Make sure you fill all of the boxes in and fill everything correctly.

Once filled in click on ADD COVER/NZB/NFO.

A new window will pop-up looking like the image above. Here you need to attach the RARRED NZB and the cover posted.

You can add them through an URL hosted somewhere else or upload from your hard disk.

Scroll down till you see a few country flags and make sure you select the appropriate flag.

STEP 5 (Done)

Now all you need to do is click submit and you are done. Your new post will be shown to other members.
